Jack & the Vox in Baltimore

Germano's Cabaret, 300 S. High Street, Baltimore, MD

Traveling from their home in Southern California, Jack & the Vox return to Baltimore for one night, on their way to the CT Ukulele Festival and then Europe! The husband-wife-duo, met at the Berklee College of Music in 1998 (where they both studied Songwriting), but only recently married in 2016. Victoria Vox, who was a Baltimore resident for 11 years, is an award-winning songwriter known for toting her ukulele around the world at festivals, clubs, and performing house concerts. Jack has childhood roots to St. Louis, but grew up in California since a young teen. He currently is the leader of SoCal’s country-rock band, Feed the Kitty, and plays nearly 300 shows a year. Considering their individual touring schedules, catching them at a show together is a real treat. They perform mostly all original material, stemming from Victoria’s repertoire, but also other co-written songs (either by Jack & the Vox, or by other songwriter-friends). Jack’s tasteful guitar playing and backing vocals to Victoria’s pure voice and rhythmic ukulele playing is a perfect match. And how!
